AJAX Pioneer Coach Wei to Present at AJAX World

A New Approach to AJAX: Asynchronous Java + XML

The AJAX model dominates headlines, but developing with JavaScript requires considerable developer skills, especially when migrating existing client/server applications to the Web. A new wave of software infrastructure providers is leveraging Java expertise to create enterprise-caliber Rich Internet Applications. This session will discuss building and deploying AJAX (Asynchronous Java + XML) applications using the Java server platform as a JavaScript alternative.

Coach's session will take place on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, in Santa Clara, California. His recent blog entries as well as technical coluimns and articles can be viewed here.

Speaker Bio: Coach Wei is the founder and CTO for Nexaweb (www.nexaweb.com), developers of the leading software platform for building and deploying Enterprise Internet Applications. Previously, he played a key role at EMC Corporation in the development of a new generation of storage network management software. Coach has his master's degree from MIT, holds several patents, is the author of several technology publications, and is an industry advocate for the proliferation of open standards.

Coach Wei is founder and CEO of Yottaa, a web performance optimization company. He is also founder and Chairman of Nexaweb, an enterprise application modernization software company. Coding, running, magic, robot, big data, speed...are among his favorite list of things (not necessarily in that order. His coding capability is really at PowerPoint level right now).
